Preview & Predictions for WWE SmackDown:
On tap for tonight's episode, the big headlining feature will be a Triple Threat match for the WWE Women's Championship. Tiffany Stratton puts her belt on the line against two of the only three people she's essentially fought since becoming champion, Jade Cargill and Nia Jax. Why WWE only seems to want to pair Stratton up with those two and temporarily Charlotte Flair and nobody else is mind boggling, but given the circumstances of this being the third time Cargill is getting a shot and the umpteenth time Jax is fighting for the title, it would be surprising if the belt changes hands. It's on SmackDown, too, so how likely is it that they'd save the title change for that rather than to have booked it for SummerSlam, Clash in Paris, or Wrestlepalooza instead? With Crown Jewel coming up, the winner of this match will face Stephanie Vaquer, and there's no issue doing babyface versus babyface, so just expect Stratton to retain.
Michin and B-Fab will face Giulia and Kiana James in a tag team match, meaning either James takes the pin to set up another Women's United States Championship match or B-Fab takes the loss. Sami Zayn will have another open challenge for the men's United States Championship, which should be fun and I'd expect him to retain. Cody Rhodes will have a promo segment (and maybe a tag team match in the usual "start off with a promo that leads to a tag match or whatever" setup that they do, where he'll address Seth Rollins and Crown Jewel, but it wouldn't be surprising if he crosses paths with Drew McIntyre again.
The Wyatt Sicks will likely continue to get in the heads of The Street Profits, we'll hopefully get an update on the MFT situation, maybe more between Melo Don't Miz and let's see if Damian Priest can get his match with Aleister Black or if he's just going to be squashing Kit Wilson in the meantime to stall that Priest vs. Black match for Crown Jewel.
All that and more will go down tonight, so keep checking and refreshing for the most up-to-date results!
Here are your results for WWE SmackDown - September 26, 2025:
- To no surprise, a promo segment started the show with Paul Heyman and Cody Rhodes talking about Crown Jewel, leading to Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed going on the attack and Randy Orton coming out to help make the save.
- The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) defeated Melo Don't Miz (Carmelo Hayes & The Miz) by pinfall.
- Giulia & Kiana James defeated Michin & B-Fab by pinfall.
- Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair argued backstage with Sol Ruca and Zaria.
- Drew McIntyre limped out with a boot around his foot, cutting a promo complaining about how he had Cody Rhodes beaten at Wrestlepalooza if it wasn't for the referee getting in the way and costing him the match. Nick Aldis then interrupted to point out how that isn't true. Jacob Fatu then came out to get in Drew's face, eating a Glasgow Kiss, but following it up with laying out The Scottish Warrior.
- Solo Sikoa had a vignette with Tonga Loa and JC Mateo about the MFTs.
- Open Challenge for the Men's United States Championship: Sami Zayn (c) defeated Je'Von Evans by pinfall.
- Kit Wilson (in a cast and in a wheelchair) called Damian Priest toxic backstage for putting him through a wall last week. Aleister Black then jumped Priest from behind.
- Triple Threat Match for the WWE Women's Championship: Tiffany Stratton (c) defeated Jade Cargill and Nia Jax by pinfall on Jax
