Tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown (May 29, 2026) emanates out of the Olimpic Arena in Barcelona, Spain and will air at 8 p.m. ET on the USA Network (but will air at 2 p.m. ET on international markets on Netflix, hence the results coming early!)

This post here will be updated frequently throughout the night to reflect live coverage of Friday Night SmackDown, including all the match results, rundowns of the promos, and any other interesting or noteworthy things that take place. Keep refreshing for updates to find out all the winners and more!

Preview & Predictions for WWE SmackDown:

On tap for tonight's episode, Axiom has been challenged by The Miz to a match effectively just because it is Axiom's home country. He was born and raised in Madrid, Spain, but WWE will act as though Barcelona is his "hometown" as they frequently do. Normally, in these scenarios, there used to be a lot of potential for someone to lose in their home field advantage in order to gain heat for the heel, but The Miz is the type of weasel comedic character that he'll undoubtedly lose this—especially if there is any kind of curse still lingering from Danhausen.

Nothing else has yet to be formally announced. Everything else is just WWE doing its usual thing as of late where they don't like to say much and will then wait until about an hour before the show starts before they effectively just list a bunch of big name stars who will be on the show, written out as some sort of "How will (insert name) respond to (other name)'s attacks?" type segments. This being the go-home show before Clash in Italy means we'll see some last-minute hype for Cody Rhodes versus Gunther and Rhea Ripley versus Jade Cargill, but whether or not they'll just have promos, vignettes, interviews, and brawl segment confrontations or actual matches is up in the air. With 3 hours of time to kill, don't expect there to be a lot of action, so it's very likely those big names have those promo spots and the matches are revolving around the MFTs, Damian Priest, and the regulars within the midcard and tag team division more than anything else.

Here are your results for WWE SmackDown - May 29, 2026:

  • The show eventually started with Jade Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin arguing with Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, and Charlotte Flair, leading to Cargill against Bliss being booked by Nick Aldis.
  • Jade Cargill defeated Alexa Bliss by pinfall.
  • Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn argued backstage. Zayn thought he deserved an apology for Cody beating him last week while he was trying to help with Gunther, while Rhodes argued that that was within the confines of a match and it wasn't right for Sami to watch him getting beaten down after the match. Zayn said that was to teach Cody a lesson because Sami's the last good guy, and Rhodes promised to teach Zayn a lesson later.
  • Nick Aldis spoke to Danhausen about how he shouldn't be doing any more experiments and should appear in front of the audience because he's being paid. Regarding the experiments, "improvise", so he started collecting things behind the scenes as The Miz argued with Aldis that Kit Wilson isn't here because he had too much moisturizer for the flight, so he should cancel the match The Miz has with Axiom, trying to argue that Kit needs to learn up close from him, even though it's obvious he just wanted some outside interference.
  • TBD - Axiom vs The Miz
  • TBD - Ricky Saints vs Damian Priest
  • TBD - Chelsea Green vs Nia Jax
  • TBD - Cody Rhodes and Gunther face-to-face
