This year's SummerSlam takes place over two nights, and is scheduled for Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, 2025, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The show will stream exclusively on Peacock in the U.S., and will be available on Netflix overseas. The show starts at 3pm PT/6pm ET/11pm BST on both nights.
WWE has started the build to its biggest PLE of the summer relatively late, though that's what happens when you have shows like Night of Champions, Saturday Night's Main Event, and Evolution 2 take place in such quick succession. However, the card as it stands is undeniably impressive.

While we don't currently know which night the match will take place on, we also expect Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis to defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against DIY, FRAXIOM, Andrade and Rey Fenix, the Street Profits, and Motor City Machine Guns in a TLC match.
SummerSlam has the potential to be a WrestleMania-level PLE, though WWE would definitely benefit from having a much longer build next time.
Talking at this weekend's San Diego Comic-Con, Jey Uso admitted that there's one specific area where Bron Breakker has his cousin Roman Reigns beaten: with his devastating Spear.
"I’d have to go with the young homie, Bron Breakker. You guys see it. Yeah, I’d have to give it to the young homie, though," Jey told fans. "I mean, he’s from a generational family as well. The Steiners. His dad, my dad, raised each other’s game, and we’re doing the same with him now. So, I’m just blessed to even be up here."
