It's been over a week since Liv Morgan injured her shoulder during the opening moments of a match with Kairi Sane on RAW. Several reliable outlets have reported that she suffered a dislocated shoulder, and in what's proven to be a worst-case scenario for Morgan, she'll require surgery and will likely be out of action for up to six months.

A return at next year's Royal Rumble is the most likely possibility, though there's always a chance she'll recover in time for Survivor Series: WarGames.

Complicating matters is that Morgan currently holds the Women's Tag Team Championships with fellow Judgement Day member Raquel Rodriguez. This Monday's RAW alluded to there being some uncertainty surrounding plans for the titles, and we now have a big update from PWInsider.com.

According to the site, the expectation is that Roxanne Perez will replace Morgan, meaning she'll have held a title less than a couple of months into her main roster run. WWE hinted at a budding friendship between her and Rodriguez during RAW when she helped the powerhouse put Rhea Ripley through a table.

When Morgan eventually returns, we'd have to imagine it will be as a red-hot babyface who goes after Perez for stealing everything that was hers in The Judgement Day (including Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio, we'd bet).

Perez is a former NXT Women's Champion and NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion, making her no stranger to championship gold.

"When I first signed my contract, I wasn’t sure if [management] would see it in me right away, and Shawn Michaels did," Perez said earlier this year. "Then it was a matter of will the main roster see me in the same light that Shawn Michaels did?"

2025 started strong for the rising star when she lasted an hour in the Royal Rumble. Reflecting on that, she said, "Being the last two with Charlotte Flair, I think it really solidified The Prodigy on the main roster. And I have more motivation than ever. I am so excited to make my mark up there, and I can’t wait to see what happens."

It's going to be a lot of fun seeing how this storyline develops, especially with Rodriguez now set to battle Ripley in a Street Fight at Night of Champions this Saturday. You can learn more about what to expect from the show here.
