Paul Heyman's squad for WarGames was successful at WWE Survivor Series due in part to an unknown assailant interfering on their behalf.

This mystery attacker was masked and has appeared numerous times since, all in the benefit of The Vision in one way or another. Supposedly, multiple people were playing the character in an attempt to throw fans off the scent of who this would be, only for it to ultimately be revealed to be the top suspect everyone had known all along.

That is because on tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw, Adam Pearce told Paul Heyman he wanted to know this person's identity by the end of the episode. Following the masked man's attack on Rey Mysterio (which netted Logan Paul a victory in their main event match), this person fled to the audience and unmasked himself as Austin Theory (now with a shaved head), returning after being out of action since July.

Bron Breakker then took out CM Punk and retaliated with a threat of his own to follow up on Punk's promo from earlier in the night. Punk had called Breakker, his father Rick Steiner, and his uncle Scott Steiner all idiots, which has Breakker saying he'll make sure Punk never walks again if he doesn't keep their names out of his mouth.

Those two will battle it out for the World Heavyweight Championship on January 5, 2026, and Theory's presence should make it difficult for Punk to retain his title.

Also now set for the January 5th episode of Raw will be Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky against The Kabuki Warriors for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. That match was announced tonight, as well as setting up a match for next week's Raw, where Rhea Ripley will face Asuka, who had spit some poison mist in her eyes on tonight's broadcast.

Two more matches announced for next week's Raw, based on other backstage segments, are Je'Von Evans against Rayo of Los Americanos, and Bayley against Roxanne Perez.

This episode of Raw will broadcast on December 22, 2025, but it is actually going to be taped in advance on December 19th, so be sure to stay tuned to The Ring Report as we get spoilers for these matches:

  • Je’Von Evans vs. Rayo Americano
  • Bayley vs. Roxanne Perez
  • Rhea Ripley vs. Asuka

In the meantime, leave a comment below with your thoughts on what you think will happen next week!
