As we mentioned yesterday, many fans are worried that Samoa Joe's Universal Championship opportunity against Brock Lesnar at Great Balls of Fire is going to be a "one and done" match before The Beast Incarnate moves on to another challenger, and it looks like that will indeed be the case.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, Lesnar is expected to retain against Joe at GBOF before moving on to defend the title against the currently injured Braun Strowman at Summerslam. Though the long-term plan is still to have Roman Reigns challenge The Beast at WrestleMania, apparently Lesnar will feud with both Kevin Owens and Finn Balor in the buildup to that match.

Meltzer does note that market conditions and injuries could potentially alter those plans.

Though this is pretty much what we expected amnyway, many will be hoping those plans do change, as Reigns VS. Lesnar for the strap at Mania is a lot of fans' worst nightmare.

What do you guys think? Drop us a comment in the usual place.
