AEW Dynasty Updates: Chris Jericho vs. Ricochet, Young Bucks vs. Konosuke Takeshita & Kazuchika Okada Added

Two more matches have been added to the lineup for AEW Dynasty with Chris Jericho choosing Ricochet as an opponent and The Don Callis Family's Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita facing The Young Bucks.

As previously reported, a Casino Gauntlet match has been added to the lineup for AEW Dynasty with the vacated AEW TNT Championship on the line, but that is not the only new match added to the show.

Don Callis had said that he was originally scheduling Kyle Fletcher to team with Kazuchika Okada (Protokada) against The Young Bucks, but due to that injury, Fletcher has been replaced by Konosuke Takeshita. Takeshita has issues with Okada and wants a shot at his AEW International Championship, so Callis told him if they got along well at Dynasty, he would sign off on the title match, even though he had said earlier in the night how that match wouldn't happen any time soon. Okada is set to defend that title against Myron Reed on this Saturday's episode of AEW Collision.

Chris Jericho has also picked Ricochet to be his opponent, as per a clause in his new contract with All Elite Wrestling. Jericho brought back the "You just made The List" catchphrase and gimmick to put the leader of The Demand on there after they had interrupted Jericho's promo and told him that he shouldn't have come back.

As it stands right now, this is the full card for AEW Dynasty:

  • Zero Hour — Singles Match: Alex Windsor vs. Marina Shafir
  • Tag Team Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship: FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) (c) (with Stokely) vs. Cope and Cage (Adam Copeland and Christian Cage)
  • Singles Match for the AEW Continental Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Will Ospreay
  • Singles Match: Andrade El Ídolo vs. Darby Allin — Stipulation: If Allin wins, he will get a future AEW World Championship match
  • Singles Match for the AEW Women's World Championship: Thekla (c) vs. Jamie Hayter
  • Casino Gauntlet Match for the AEW TNT Championship: Tommaso Ciampa vs. Participants TBA
  • Tag Team Match: The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) vs. The Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita)
  • Singles Match: Chris Jericho vs. Ricochet
  • Singles Match for the AEW World Championship: MJF (c) vs. Kenny Omega

More matches could still be announced during AEW Collision.
