Beth Copeland (formerly known as Beth Phoenix when she was a WWE Superstar) making her All Elite Wrestling debut wasn't the only surprise appearance at AEW All Out 2025, as a few other wrestlers made their returns as well.
During the Coffin Match between Darby Allin and Jon Moxley, The Death Riders couldn't help but to interfere. Allin was doing a good job fighting them off, but a surprise return of "The Bastard" PAC was the difference maker, attacking Allin and giving Moxley not only some time to recover, but specifically helping drag and place him into the coffin after tossing him on top of one of the other caskets that was ringside.
While that would go on to net Moxley the victory, and PAC's return will certainly help boost the power of The Death Riders by strengthening their numbers some more, it was actually Darby Allin who got the last laugh at this event.
Later on, several matches after the coffin match had finished, there was a backstage segment involving The Death Riders still carting around Allin inside the coffin. After everyone left and it was just Moxley alone with Allin, immediately after the rest of the crew drove off, Allin jumped out of the coffin and took the fight back to Moxley again. With that surprise attack, as well as wielding a weapon (a metal bar, possibly from the broken up casket itself), Allin was quickly was able to get control, and managed to actually put Moxley down long enough to wrap him up in the body bag.
Allin then followed that up by debating about smashing Moxley's head in with a steel pipe. Instead, he said "You want to burn AEW to the ground? Don't be surprised when I pull you into the fire"—a quote from last year—and decided to spray the body bag with lighter fluid and set it on fire. Immediately after, officials put the fire out and dragged Allin off, as he continued to yell at Moxley "Burn! Burn!"
