Last night on AEW Dynamite, MJF officially challenged Jon Moxley for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship.

During a presidential rally-style promo, Friedman channeled a scummy politician (use your imagination) and called out Mox for holding him down. He also took a few shots at the "cosplay" wrestlers and acrobats who feature on TV every week, and made a dig at the Champ for using his WWE name recognition to maneuver his way to the top.

Like all the best heels have always done, MJF actually made quite a few valid points here while still managing to come across like an absolute douchebag. Bravo.

The match hasn't been made official yet, but Friedman did say that he'd see the Purveyor of Violence at All In right at the end of his promo. Will MJF become the new AEW Champion, or will Moxley become the first man to pin "The Salt of the Earth" in singles competition? Either way, this is one title match well worth getting hyped about.
