Kenny Omega is coming home of DDT Pro Wrestling!

The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion will make his return to the company on June 7 for DDT Wrestle Peter Pan. The show is the promotion's biggest event of the year and will be held inside the Saitama Super Arena.

Omega’s ties to DDT Pro Wrestling go back to over a decade ago before New Japan Pro Wrestling, as the 36-year-old started out with his Golden Lovers partner Kota Ibushi in the Japanese promotion. The Canada native had a very successful stint in DDT, winning numerous titles such as the KO-D Openweight Championship, KO-D Tag Team Championship, and DDT Extreme Division Championship.

Omega also had numerous matches that would get him noticed by New Japan Pro Wrestling, as his bouts against Kota Ibushi, El Generico (Sami Zayn), and Isami Kodaka are considered one of the best matches in the promotion’s history.

The AEW star returned to DDT Pro Wrestling on November 2019, teaming with Riho to take on Antonio Honda & Miyu Yamashita at the event.
