It looks like Flip Gordon will get a Ring of Honor World Championship opportunity in the near future.
After defeating the debuting Slex earlier in the night, The Mercenary shaved his beard, tied back his hair and donned a Dragon Lee mask to enter the 20-man (well, 19 men and one Maneater) battle royal at Ring of Honor's Free Enterprise show.
The match featured some surprising faces from pro-wrestling past such as The Blue Meanie and Gangrel, and Bully Ray also put in an appearance to eliminate said Maneater Maria Manic. In the end, it came down to "Dragon Lee" and Kenny King, with Flip shocking everyone (seriously, they managed to fool the majority of fans with this one) after sidestepping King and removing the mask.
We don't know when Gordon will get his title show, but there's a good chance it'll happen at Supercard of Honor in April.
