Another NWA talent is gone from the promotion.
Lately, talents such as Wade Barrett, Ricky Starks, Eddie Kingston, and James Storm (though the NWA World Tag Team Champion has yet to confirm his departure) have exited their contracts with the National Wrestling Alliance and now, Royce Isaacs joins the list.
Earlier this week, 411 Wrestling reported the news that Isaacs requested his release from the promotion and the company granted it. According to Fightful Select, NWA officials had the option to roll over his contract; however, the promotion opted not to do so. Isaacs confirmed the news of his departure on social media:
Isaacs was a big part of the promotion’s return as he wasn't just a former NWA World Tag Team Champion with Thomas Latimer, but the duo became apart of a faction with NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis and Kamille. The group was known as Strictly Business.
There’s no word on what the future lies for the former NWA star. It sounds like Isaacs will continue wrestling going forward, but there's no indication on where he could possibly end up. As of this writing, Thomas Latimer still remains with the National Wrestling Alliance, though anything can change until the promotion returns to running live events.
