As expected, Thunder Rosa defeated long-time Women's Champion Allysin Kay at the Hard Times PPV last night to capture her first NWA title.

In arguably the match of the night, both women exchanged a flurry of strikes and submission holds, which resulted in several near-falls. In the end, Rosa was able to capitalize on a rare mistake from Kay to hit her Thunder Driver and pick up the win via pinfall.

After the match, Melina and Marti Belle come out to celebrate with their stablemate.

Thunder Rosa is still technically a heel, but she is one of the, if not the most poplar stars in the promotion right now, so expect that to change very soon. The prevailing theory is that Melina is going to end up betraying her it of jealousy, setting up a feud for the title.
