CONFIRMED: Austin Aries Will Make His Main Roster Debut As Part Of 205 LIVE

We recently told you that the plan for WrestleMania is to have Austin Aries take on Neville for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, and it appears as if that's now one step closer to becoming a reality. It was confirmed on 205 Live last night that the NXT Superstar is heading to the main roster, and you can watch the hype video for that below.

Since suffering an orbital fracture last year, Aries has been on the shelf, something which put his feud with the similarly injured Hideo Itami on hold. Chances are that will never be resolved now, but the struggling Cruiserweight division could do with a star like this to help turn things around.

Then again, it would have been nice to see Aries on a show like SmackDown Live where he could really get the chance to shine, but fingers crossed this all ends up working out. It will obviously be a shame to lose him from the 205 Live commentary team, but The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived is still so great in the ring that he deserves the chance to perform!

Are you excited to see Austin Aries make his debut in WWE's Cruiserweight division?
