Former RAW Tag Team Champions The Revival Have Reportedly Turned Down $500K WWE Contracts
It was reported recently that the former WWE RAW Tag Team champions were offered a huge $500k a year contract, but according to Dave Meltzer, Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson have turned down the respective offer.
It was first reported by Fightful (and also confirmed by Wrestling Observer) that former WWE RAW Tag Team champions Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson – better known as The Revival – were offered a huge $500k a year contract.
Now according to Dave Meltzer, The RAW tag team has reportedly turned down the initial contract. While the The Revival have never addressed the rumors of wanting to leave WWE, the reported reasoning stems from the duo being fed up with the company's booking and treatment of the tag team division as a whole.
While Dawson & Wilder won the RAW Tag Team titles earlier this year, the duo was never really given a chance to showcase the talent that they displayed back in their NXT days. It’s widely expected that once they do leave, they’ll be heading to AEW.
