Like RAW and SmackDown, WWE has taped upcoming episodes of NXT in advance to give its Superstars time to relax and see their families over the holiday season.
NXT will conclude 2025 with two pre-taped episodes that were filmed last Wednesday, December 17, in the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The first of those airs on the CW this evening, but spoilers for the show have—unsurprisingly—already found their way online.
In case you missed them last week, here's a full breakdown of what's to come on the December 23 edition of NXT (via Bodyslam's Patreon).
Lola Vice def. Izzi Dame in a match that saw Tatum Paxley chase Shawn Spears off with a chain saw. Kelani Jordan attacked Vice post-match
Blake Monroe cut off new Women’s North American champ Thea Hail’s promo, leading to the announcement of a New Year’s Evil rematch of their title bout from this week’s show
Tavion Heights def. Eli Knight
A face-to-face between Je’Von Evans and Ricky Saints sets up General Manager Ava making a match between them for the Dec. 30 show
Shiloh Hill and Skylar Raye def. Stacks and Ariana Grace in a Christmas Chaos Match
Lexis King def. Andre Chase
Chelsea Green def. Sol Ruca to retain the Women’s United States title. Moose chased Green’s mixed tag partner Ethan Page off at one point, but Secret Her-vice member Alba Fyre was still on-hand to ensure Green kept her singles belt
Like last night's RAW, this doesn't sound like a game-changing episode of NXT. However, there are some solid matches on the card, and plenty of setup for the upcoming New Year's Evil show on January 6.
During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Chelsea Green opened up on her NXT alliance with Ethan Page. "I don’t know who in NXT thought to put us together, but I owe them a lot of money," she said. "When Ethan gets called up, I owe them a lot of money. Yes, I don’t know, but it’s crazy."
"I remember being backstage and listening to him out in the ring when I was going to come out and do the first promo with him. His facial expressions, and the sh*t that was coming out of his mouth was just like, 'Oh, my God, I couldn’t have said it any better.' And we actually get along too, which that’s rare."
"There’s also, like, something very unique about putting a man and a woman together who are in no way related or partners or anything," Green continued. "We just have a different dynamic than anyone else."
Stay tuned for all the biggest news on NXT as we have it.
