Is "The Monster Among Men” planning to get back into the squared circle.

2025 has been a rollercoaster ride for Braun Strowman. The former WWE Universal Champion was putting in some of the best work of his career against Bronson Reed and Jacob Fatu before it was confirmed that WWE was not going to reach a new deal with him once his contract expires on July 31st.

Since then, there’s been questions on whether Braun Strowman still planned to continue wrestling and the big man himself finally answers that question in a video he posted to social media.

There are rumors that WWE is willing to bring Strowman back on a part time schedule down the line, but there’s no confirmation on if that's true or not. The 41-year-old has expressed frustration with the company in recent months, citing that WWE made a stupid business decision when it comes to releasing him. He also responded to Karrion Kross and claimed that the company didn’t care about the fans.

Strowman never says that he’s retired so it’s quite possible that he returns to the ring somewhere down the line, but he’s clearly focusing on other projects that peak his interest.

Strowman has been in and out of the WWE since 2013. He started training down in developmental during that time and made his main roster debut in 2015. His first run was his most successful as that was the height of his popularity. WWE built him as a monster and he had some pretty good matches against Roman Reigns. He also won the WWE Universal Championship during this run. But he was surprisingly released in 2021.

The former WWE star attempted to open a new promotion, Control Your Narrative, with EC3, but that didn’t last long. He returned to WWE in 2022 and floated around the mid/upper card for most of his second run. He had good matches here and there, but it was clear that Strowman couldn't move like he used to in his first run. Still, he went out on a set of great matches. It won’t be surprising if he returned to WWE in the future as Strowman is a solid big man, though his injury will hamper him from being elevated beyond the mid card scene.
