Tonight on WWE SmackDown, it became official that the partnership between Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa is absolutely over and done with, setting up a match for next Saturday between them for the United States Championship at the upcoming WWE Night of Championship premium live event.

How did this go down tonight, what led to this, and what could be on the horizon? Let's break it all down!

How We Got Here:

Tension had been brewing for a while between Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa, made even worse when Sikoa brought in Jeff Cobb (renamed JC Mateo) to be part of their group. Several weeks back, Fatu overheard Sikoa make fun of his catchphrase of "all gas, no breaks" saying Fatu was all gas and no brains. Fatu then interfered at Money in the Bank to cost Sikoa a chance to win the briefcase.

Segment Details:

Tonight, Sikoa invited Fatu to the ring to apologize, claiming again that he loves him and trying to manipulate his loyalty. However, Fatu called out how Sikoa has just been using him to fight his battles for him and to amass more power, saying the United States Championship is probably what has caused Sikoa to be acting the way he is. He suggested they fight for it, if Sikoa wants it so badly.

Sikoa tried to nail The Samoan Werewolf with a Samoan Spike, but Fatu saw it coming and caught him. JC Mateo then attacked Fatu from behind, but he was thankfully saved with some assistance from Jimmy Uso.

Updated WWE Night of Champions 2025 Card:
