During Monday night's episode of RAW, Jinder Mahal hit the ring alongside Veer and Shanky to celebrate his 35th birthday. They cost Drew McIntyre the Money in the Bank ladder match on Sunday, so it didn't take long for the former WWE Champion to make his presence felt and take his revenge.

McIntyre destroyed Shanky with a steel chair, blasting him with dozens of shots to the back. Fans in the building ate it up, but some have questioned whether that was really necessary.

Among them is WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley. No stranger to chair shots - and the damage they can do - the former RAW General Manager made it clear he doesn't think these were handled in the right way. Reading what he says here, it's hard to disagree, though they did at least build the feud between McIntyre and Mahal (even if it wasn't the latter who ended up taking them).

The belief is that this is building to a match between McIntyre and Mahal at SummerSlam

McIntyre hasn't responded, but did issue this warning to Jinder Mahal following Monday's RAW:
