Today's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw (March 24, 2025) emanates out of the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.
As a reminder, WWE programming on Netflix airs when it is recorded, so since this is in a different time zone, it will actually air at 4 p.m. EST instead of its traditional time.
This post will be updated frequently throughout the program (for however long the show goes on). As Raw goes on, keep refreshing this post to get the most up-to-date information on all the match winners, breakdowns of the promo segments, and anything else noteworthy or interesting that takes place.
Preview & Predictions for WWE RAW:
On tap for tonight's episode, Cody Rhodes and John Cena will again be in the building together. This means effectively another promo between the two to build off last week. Since the last one had no physicality, it's possible they come to blows this time, but not guaranteed. In fact, it's far more likely Cena does nothing physical prior to WrestleMania, just to ensure he doesn't get injured, but since The American Nightmare came out of their last encounter looking stronger, he should probably be taken down a peg this time.
Last week, Bron Breakker defended the Intercontinental Championship against Finn Balor. Not only will we see the fallout of Dominik Mysterio costing Balor that match, but since Penta had defeated Ludwig Kaiser in a No Holds Barred match and declared he's coming after the IC title next, we're already getting Breakker defending the title again, in a match against Penta. It'd be surprising if Breakker lost the title right now, given how many other titles have changed hands on the Road to WrestleMania 41. There can't truly be almost a 50% reset in champions this close to the show, right? But we've seen that happen more this year than arguably any other year, so that goes to show it's more than a possibility yet another champion is dethroned. More than likely, though, this match will end with a disqualification after some heels get involved to help set up a multi-man match for the title at WrestleMania.
Lyra Valkyria is also set to defend the Women's Intercontinental Championship against Raquel Rodriguez. I doubt WWE wants Raquel to be a double champion right now, so I'm expecting Valkyria to retain due to some shenanigans (maybe some help from Bayley) so Rodriguez and Liv Morgan can defend the Women's Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania instead.
Jey Uso will team with a mystery partner against Austin Theory and Grayson Waller after A-Town Down Under have been involved with Uso for the past few weeks. Is it just going to be Jimmy Uso, or Otis or Akira Tozawa as Alpha Academy have been helping out Jey? Maybe since it is in Scotland, WWE has a trick up their sleeves and it's someone like Joe Hendry from TNA?
CM Punk will be there, no doubt to cut a promo about what happened on SmackDown, and Dragon Lee will lose to Chad Gable, aka Grande Americano.
Here are your results for WWE Monday Night Raw March 24, 2025:
- The show opened with John Cena cutting a promo in the ring. He badmouthed the fans, talked about how he's always looked at them as an experiment to learn from, and gave some examples, eventually settling on the spinner belt as his "greatest idea." He explained that he turned the title into a toy and the fans let him know that that was the thing that meant the most to them, so he's going to "ruin wrestling" by winning the 17th world title, erasing Ric Flair from the record books to be replaced by Cena, and then, he's retiring with the title so he can be the last "real" champion and force WWE to create a "new toy belt" while he keeps the real one at home.
- The Usos (Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso) defeated A-Town Down Under (Grayson Waller & Austin Theory) by pinfall. Gunther attacked The Usos after the match. Jimmy ran him off with a steel chair.
- A vignette aired that explained the fake history of Chad Gable's luchador character, El Grande Americano. Gable then told Adam Pearce backstage that he's sick and can't compete tonight, but suggested Dragon Lee face El Grande Americano instead.
- Women's Intercontinental Championship Match: Lyra Valkyria (c) defeated Raquel Rodriguez by pinfall. After the match, Rodriguez and Liv Morgan continued to attack Valkyria, but Bayley ran out and helped Lyra fight them off.
- Backstage, Jey is upset over tripping earlier and knows that he can't beat Gunther. Jimmy tells him that he can't if he's doubting himself. Jey needs to be the version of himself that won the Royal Rumble and all. Jimmy then goes up to Gunther, challenges him to a match for next week, and slaps him.
- Adam Pearce explained that Rhea Ripley's signature on the contract last week doesn't count, but she's entitled to a rematch at some point that they haven't settled on yet. One by one, Iyo Sky, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley come out. Pearce announces that next week, Ripley gets her rematch against Sky, and the winner faces Belair at WrestleMania. All three end up fighting again, and Belair comes out on top. Later, Pearce told Belair that she'll be the special guest referee for that match.
- Backstage, Dominik Mysterio offered a spot in The Judgment Day to Penta, telling him to think about it.
- El Grande Americano defeated Dragon Lee by submission with an ankle lock after taking off Lee's mask.
- CM Punk cut a promo, saying that he has a contract signing with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins for next week, and that just as he brought them into the business, he'll take them out of it.
- Logan Paul called out AJ Styles for next week's Raw.
- Men's Intercontinental Championship Match: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Penta ended with a disqualification after Dominik Mysterio, Carlito and Finn Balor attacked Breakker. Penta was given a chance to hit Breakker with a steel chair and join the group, but turned them down, so The Judgment Day then laid him out, too.
