The latest edition of AEW Dynamite for September 30, 2020 took place at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— Darby Allin defeated Ricky Starks by pinfall.

— Cody accepted Mr. Brodie Lee's challenge for a dog collar match for the AEW TNT Championship. There was then a brawl.

— The Young Bucks took out Tony Schiavone.

— FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) defeated SCU by pinfall to retain the AEW Tag Team Championship.

— There will be an eight-man tournament to determine the next No. 1 contender to Jon Moxley's AEW World Championship. The first competitors announced are Jungle Boy, Rey Fenix and Kenny Omega

— Chris Jericho defeated Isiah Kassidy by pinfall.

— Orange Cassidy defeated Dark Order's 10 (Preston Vance) by pinfall.

— MJF teased the idea of joining The Inner Circle, possibly replacing Sammy Guevara, who had called MJF a loser, but Jericho didn't quite agree.

— Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. defeated Red Velvet by pinfall.

— Jon Moxley defeated The Butcher by submission to retain the AEW World Championship.
