Former WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy Has Confirmed He's Heading To AEW Once Non-Compete Expires

There's been a lot of speculation surrounding Jeff Hardy's future plans after WWE made the mistake of releasing him, but the cat is officially out of the bag after the Charismatic Enigman spilt the beans.

Last December, WWE released Jeff Hardy after what was described as "erratic" behaviour at a non-televised live event. The company appeared to be under the impression that Jeff, who has had substance abuse issues in the past, might have been on something, and the decision to fire the former Intercontinental Champion came after he turned down their offer of a stint in rehab.

It was recently confirmed that Jeff's drug test came back clear, and while WWE has tried to win him back with the offer of a Hall of Fame induction, the Charismatic Enigma has made up his mind!

In the clip below, Hardy can be heard saying, "I’m going to AEW, I’m so excited." There, he can reunite with his brother Matt for what we're sure would be an incredible run against tag teams like The Young Bucks and FTR. Jeff's non-compete with WWE is believed to be up in early March, so we'd bet on him making his AEW debut as a big surprise during the upcoming Revolution PPV.

As always, we'll be sure to keep you updated on the situation with Hardy as we learn more.
