Ivelisse has worked a few matches for All Elite Wrestling (and even won the Women's Tag Team Tournament) without being signed to a contract, but during a recent Q&A with Pro Wrestling Junkies, she confirmed that she's now officially part of the AEW roster.

“Actually, since you asked – I haven’t been able to officially confirm anywhere yet, but I can confirm right now – and I asked if it was okay – that I am indeed signed to AEW. Honestly, when that moment came, it was very emotional for me. Through the last couple of years have been really tough for me for so many reasons. Number one, the Lucha Underground thing and being kept through our contracts and all of that."

The Puerto Rican star was also asked about her recent Dynamite match with NWA Women's Champion Thunder Rosa, which is said to have broken down into a "shoot" when Ivelisse seemingly refused to cooperate with her opponent following a disagreement backstage.

Although she declines to go into too much detail, she does appear to confirm that she felt "disrespected" during the bout.

"I won’t comment much about it, but I will state obvious facts according to it. Whenever it comes to-pro wrestling, I’m obviously the vet within the equation, so that pretty much should say a whole lot to anyone that knows anything about pro-wrestling. They can put two and two together that me being the vet within the equation, and also with the fact that I don’t take people trying to disrespect me – with those facts, it’s kind of self-explanatory what happened, and anything that comes up along those lines."

There's obviously two sides to the story, but Rosa has not commented on what happened yet, and probably won't. This type of thing happens more than you might realize, and as long as nobody goes out of their way to injure an opponent, a few "live rounds" here and there are generally glossed over.
