Wrestling fans were definitely surprised when Mandy Rose was sent back to NXT as part of the show's "2.0" rebranding, but the former Golden Goddess made a massive impact during last night's Halloween Havoc.

While Mandy Rose was part of some big storylines on RAW and SmackDown (including a rivalry with Sonya Deville and unexpected partnership with Otis), she was never someone WWE seemingly viewed as being champion material. Well, her move to NXT 2.0 has changed that because Rose has just won her first title!

She faced Raquel Gonzalez and picked up the win after her opponent was hit in the back with a shovel by the returning Dakota Kai. Earlier in the night, Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin won the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships in a Ladder match. As a result, all three members of Toxic Attraction now hold championship gold in NXT 2.0.

Given how Rose was being booked on WWE's main roster as Dana Brooke's tag team partner, it's definitely surprising how much success she's found - surprisingly quickly - as part of this show.

Elsewhere in the show, Tommaso Ciampa managed to beat Bron Breakker to retain the NXT Championship. That was definitely a surprise as fans expected this to be the latter's coronation in NXT 2.0.

I enjoyed the match... the two women went to good lengths to entertain, crashing through stairs and tables. Mandy's new heel characters is pretty mysterious, sexy and compelling, I like this new direction.
