Chris Jericho Responds To Controversy Surrounding Chris Benoit WRESTLE KINGDOM Match Dedication

Last night before his match against Kenny Omega and Wrestle Kingdom 12, Chris Jericho came in for some backlash when he seemingly dedicated the bout to Chris Beniot via some fan art. Now, Y2J has responded.

Before his epic Wrestle Kingdom 12 match against Kenny Omega got underway last night, Chris Jericho shared a piece of fan art depicting him alongside the late Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit, and stated that he was dedicating the match to his "fallen brothers".

Given the vile acts committed by "The Crippler" before he died, this came in for quite a bit of backlash, with Pro Wrestling Sheet's Ryan Satin leading the charge.

Now, Y2J has responded.

In the video below Jericho says he will never forget what Benoit did and understands how horrible it was, but that he "has his reasons for doing what I'm doing."
