Bandido is scheduled to defend the ROH World championship for the fourth time.
Bandido is going strong with his title reign lasting 117 days thus far. He’s beaten former multi-time world champions (Chris Jericho), a former NEVER Openweight and International Champion (Konosuke Takeshita), and a notable CMLL star (Dralistico). Just because the AEW newcomer doesn’t have the same pedigree of those men, it doesn’t mean that Adam Priest has no chance at beating Bandido.
Priest is a rising star who’s won the New South Championship, ACTION Championship, and DPW National Championship. Priest has competed in Major League Wrestling, WWE, Game Changer Wrestling, and Progress Wrestling. The 29-year-old is looking to make a name for himself in ROH/AEW. Can he pull off a huge victory over the experienced ROH World Champion?
Jimmy Jacobs is back in ROH. The former ROH World Tag Team Champion is hoping to start his latest run on a good note, but that’s easier said than done since his opponent is Blake Christian. Christian has been on a role as of late and he hasn’t lost a singles match in ROH since July 2024. Can Blake Christian keep up the momentum? Or will Jimmy Jacobs put him in his place?
In tag team action,Tomohiro Ishii comes over from New Japan Pro Wrestling to team with Hologram to take on the MxM Collection (Mansoor and Mason Madden). Mansoor and Mason Madden are in desperate need of a win. The duo haven’t won a tag team match in ROH since January, and their recent failure to win the ROH Six-Man Tag Team titles had the duo rethinking their gameplan as a team going forward. Can Mansoor and Mason Madden get back on track with a huge win over a current IWGP Tag Team Champion? Or will Ishi and Hologram humble the ROH duo?
