Kota Ibushi is still your rightful G1 Climax contract winner!

On Day 3 of the G1 Climax, EVIL shocked many within the wrestling community as the Los Ingobernables de Japon member decisively pinned the former NEVER Openweight Champion. Ibushi would go on to win the entire tournament; however, EVIL made his claim that he should be the rightful contract holder due to securing a victory over Ibushi in the G1 Climax.

The former IWGP Tag Team Champion brought the fight to the former IWGP Intercontinental Champion, but Ibushi ultimately proved that he was the rightful contract holder in the end, as the 2019 G1 Climax winner connected with his signature finisher to put away EVIL. Ibushi winning secures his spot in the main event of Wrestle Kingdom 14.
