Two titles changed hands during TNA No Surrender 2026 with Arianna Grace defeating Léi Yǐng Lee to win the TNA Knockouts World Championship after her fiance Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo lost his TNA International Championship to Trey Miguel.
How did this go down tonight, what led to this, and what could be on the horizon? Let's break it all down!
What Happened?
Trey Miguel had left TNA Wrestling to go to All Elite Wrestling, but was not actually allowed to join the company officially. Since things with AEW didn't pan out, he returned to TNA Wrestling and promptly won the International Championship title opportunity during the annual Feast or Fired ladder match.
Stacks has been champion since defeating Steve Maclin at Final Resolution on December 5, 2025.
Meanwhile, Stacks and Arianna Grace have been involved in an effort to become a power couple, which was threatened when Stacks lost the title tonight, almost resulting in Grace breaking up with him (just before Valentine's Day), only for Stacks to help her beat Lei Ying Lee to turn things around.
Also worth noting is that Grace already has her first challenger in Jody Threat, who won the battle royal to become the No. 1 contender for the Knockouts World Championship at a future date. Threat will face Tessa Blanchard (who she eliminated last to win that title opportunity) on the next episode of Impact.
Personal Reactions & What Happens Next?
I'm curious as to why they took they title off Stacks instead of having them both as champions, but I guess it was more about Trey Miguel than it was about Stacks and Grace, considering Miguel's reaction after winning the title.
I'm assuming Lee goes on to feud with Dani Luna, who came out during the match after having via issues that kept her from her previously scheduled match with Lee.
Overall, it's just odd that this doesn't factor into the NXT storyline whatsoever, and they're doing something completely different with the Birthright angle, yet had their connections with Lexis King (and Brooks Jensen, for that matter, who is a second generation star) as part of an invasion angle in TNA that also basically went nowhere. Odd.
