Preview & Predictions for TNA Lockdown 2026:

On tap for tonight's event, everything is a steel cage match, so be prepared to watch the entire thing through some chainlink mesh. Certain matches have some different stipulations to differentiate them.

For example, Moose against Frankie Kazarian will be specifically to escape the cage, making me think Kazarian might have the win because that's more of a heel action to do rather than to score a decisive pinfall.

Let's go with DemonXBunny retaining the Knockouts tag team titles (since reverting back to The Elegance Brand is just a step backward). Jason Hotch could be in a hot potato situation to give the international title back to Mustafa Ali, though. If any titles change hands, that's one of the two I would be the most suspicious of.

The other would be Leon Slater winning back the X Division Championship. What a strange stipulation it is, for Slater's loss to erase his previous title reign from the history books. How does that even work? I wouldn't put it past TNA to do something like that, given their "reverse battle royal" type gimmicks in the past, but I do think they won't have to answer that question and they'll just give the title back to Slater.

Elayna Black as a heel fighting a fellow heel in Xia Brookside, but Black being more of a hometown default babyface has me leaning toward Brookside retaining to get some heat from the crowd.

Elijah beats A.J. Francis to end that feud so they can move on to something else.

Flip a coin on the Lethal Lockdown match, and when it comes to the tag team title match, that feels like the most obvious answer being The Hardys retaining.

COUNTDOWN TO TNA LOCKDOWN RESULTS (PRE-SHOW)

  • In-Arena Exclusive for the AAW Heavyweight Championship: Joe Alonzo (c) defeated The Home Town Man by pinfall to retain the title and earn a TNA contract. Alonzo removed The Home Town Man's mask and caught him with a roll-up for the victory. This match took place before the televised action and was not contested inside the steel cage.
  • The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) defeated Rich Swann and BDE by pinfall. Vincent pinned BDE after The Righteous isolated him late in the match and hit their finishing combination.
  • The System expressed confidence heading into Lethal Lockdown, while Cedric Alexander once again threatened to erase Leon Slater's previous X Division Championship reign from the record books.
  • Trey Miguel defeated Special Agent 0 by pinfall. Miguel countered Agent 0 while positioned on his shoulders and rolled him up, handing Agent 0 his first singles loss in TNA.
  • Indi Hartwell confronted Daria Rae and argued that she had earned the next opportunity at the TNA Knockouts World Championship. After Hartwell mocked Rae and criticized her decisions, Rae issued her a warning.

TNA LOCKDOWN RESULTS (MAIN CARD):

  • Steel Cage Match [The Final Encore]: AJ Francis defeated Elijah by pinfall. Expressions revealed that his injuries had been a ruse and repeatedly interfered on Francis' behalf. After Elijah stopped to attack Expressions, Francis capitalized and put him away with the Down Payment. The Home Town Man appeared afterward and gave Elijah a guitar, which Elijah smashed across Francis.
  • Allie addressed Rosemary's continued absence and revealed that she had found another partner rather than surrender the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship. Kiera Hogan then made her return to TNA as Allie's surprise teammate.
  • Steel Cage Match for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship: Allie and Kiera Hogan defeated The Elegance Brand (Heather by Elegance and M by Elegance) by pinfall to retain the titles. Heather attempted to take Allie out of the equation with handcuffs, but Hogan pinned M by Elegance before Heather could stop the fall. TNA subsequently announced that Hogan has officially signed with the company.
  • Escape the Cage Match: Frankie Kazarian defeated Moose by escaping the cage. Moose tried to spear Kazarian near the open cage door, but the impact sent Kazarian through the doorway and onto the floor first, giving Kazarian the victory.
  • Steel Cage Match for the TNA Knockouts World Championship: Xia Brookside (c) defeated Elayna Black by pinfall to retain the title. With Indi Hartwell watching backstage, Brookside threw powder into Black's eyes and quickly rolled her up to steal the victory in Black's hometown.
  • Steel Cage Match for the TNA International Championship: Mustafa Ali defeated Jason Hotch (c) by pinfall to win the title. The match included Hotch diving from the top of the cage through a table at ringside and further dissension involving Order 4. Ali ultimately hit a second 450 Splash to regain the championship.
  • Avery Styles announced that he has officially signed with TNA. Frankie Kazarian interrupted the announcement, spoke about the history he shares with AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels, and warned Avery that there are people in the TNA locker room he should not trust while presenting himself as someone Avery could rely on.
  • Last Man Standing Steel Cage Match for the TNA X Division Championship [Stipulation: If Leon Slater lost, his previous title reign would be erased from the record books]: Leon Slater defeated Cedric Alexander (c) to win the title. Slater hit three Lumbar Checks followed by a Swanton 450, leaving Alexander unable to answer the referee's 10-count. Slater therefore regained the championship while preserving his previous title reign in TNA's record books.
  • Elijah was later shown laid out backstage following an apparent attack. The person responsible was not identified.
  • Lethal Lockdown Match: The System (Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Bear Bronson and Alisha Edwards) defeated Ricky Sosa, KC Navarro, Fabian Aichner and Jada Stone
  • Tornado Steel Cage Match for the TNA World Tag Team Championship: The Nemeths (Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth) defeated The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) (c) by pinfall to become the new champions. Jeff's attempt to climb to the top of the cage was cut off by Nic, while Matt drove Ryan through a table with an elbow drop from the top rope. Nic capitalized afterward by hitting Matt with the Danger Zone and scoring the decisive pin. The celebration did not last long, as newly crowned X Division champion Leon Slater came out and declared that he is choosing Option C for Bound for Glory. Slater will trade in the X Division Championship for a shot at Nic's TNA World Championship, with the goal of becoming the youngest world champion in company history. When The Nemeths tried to attack him, Slater took out both brothers and held up the TNA World Championship as Lockdown went off the air.
