Preview & Predictions for TNA Slammiversary 2026:
On tap for tonight's event, my big question is whether or not Mike Santana is going to re-sign with TNA or leave to go to WWE / NXT. If he's gone, I think he's dropping the belt to Nic Nemeth on his way out. If he's sticking around, there's no reason to dethrone him.
Léi Yǐng Lee is a safe bet to retain, I feel. Every other title is within the range of changing hands. The Ultimate X match has Fabian Aichner who could come out on top. The Hardys might win the tag titles back, given how they're redoing the "broken" gimmick again. Likewise, I could see Allie and Rosemary winning the Knockouts tag team titles as well.
When it comes to Mustafa Ali's open challenge opponent, that will dictate if they've got a shot or not. If it's a full-blown new signing (my theory being Apollo Crews), either that new person to the roster wins to have a great first night, or Ali barely retains due to interference or a disqualification or something along those lines.
I don't see the point in having a stipulation like AJ Francis controlling Elijah's music without following through with that story, so let's assume Francis wins. A No Surrender match between Moose and Eddie Edwards should likely be the end of the feud, meaning I'd lean toward Moose. Ricky Sosa should beat Eric Young as he's the younger star to build up, and I frankly have no idea when it comes to the three-way on the pre-show, as from a more outsider's perspective, that strikes me as "just get these people on the card" more than anything else.
