Could Ethan Page be all elite soon?

According to Wrestletalk, the longest reigning Impact World Tag Team Champion's contract is set to expire on Thursday, December 31. There is no word on whether officials and Page are negotiating a new deal; however, the report states that AEW is interested in the 30-year-old.

Thus far, there have been no talks between both sides; however, AEW Executive Vice President Cody noted in a recent Q&A that he'd be interested in bringing "All Ego" to AEW. In terms of his partner Josh Alexander, PW Insider reports that his contract runs through 2021, so he won’t be leaving at the same time as Page.

Page has been with Impact Wrestling since 2017; however, he was barely used until The North was formed in 2019. Once the duo beat LAX for the prestigious belts as Bash at the Brewery 2019, Page and Alexander became the face of the tag team division and managed to hold the belts for a record breaking 380-days.

Page and Alexander have a chance to reclaim the belts at Impact's Emergence special this Tuesday as they’ll challenge The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) on night one.
