Alberto El Patron Claims It Was His Idea To Be Stripped Of The GFW World Championship

We learned yesterday that Alberto El Patron has been stripped of the GFW World Championship but the former WWE Superstar now claims that it was actually his idea for the company to take the title from him.

Last month, various reports surfaced that Alberto El Patron and Paige had been involved in some sort of domestic violence related dispute in Orlando. As a result, he was suspended from GFW and while we later learned that he reportedly wasn't at fault for whatever happened, his suspension wasn't lifted and the company stripped him of their world championship yesterday.

Well, El Patron has now taken to social media to claim that it was actually his idea for GFW to take the title from him. His explanation makes sense in some respects but it's more likely that he didn't particularly want to return to the company after they very publicly suspended him without knowing the full story behind what happened during his altercation with Paige at the airport.

We're now going to have to wait and see if El Patron returns to GFW or if his future lies elsewhere but based on recent comments he's made about WWE, there's a very good chance that he'll be sticking to the independents for a while. What would you guys like to see him do next? As always, be sure to share your thoughts on this news in the usual place.

This is a positive guys I promise. Please treat it like such! God bless everyone and I hope you all have a great day! 🙏🏼
