Cora Jade will make her TNA debut this Thursday.

The NXT star has been taunting the Knockouts Champion for weeks. It all started when Masha made an appearance for the developmental brand and Cora wasn’t too thrilled with the Knockouts Champion stealing her spotlight.

“What the hell was she [Masha Slamovich] doing sticking her nose in your business?” Roxanne Perez said, before Cora Jade cut in.

“Exactly. I don’t know why she’s in my business,” Cora Jade said. “But on the other hand, I can see there’s a new partnership between TNA and WWE. It’s an exciting time for pro wrestling. I’m sure she was anxious to come over here and see what a real star looks like, so I’m not surprised she showed up.”

“Honestly, it’s a good thing because I’m going to show Masha, just like I said, what a true star is. And I’m sure the NXT Universe will get to witness one hell of a match eventually. I’ve got my eyes on that TNA Knockouts Championship,” Cora said on Busted Open Radio.

Jade notably came out at Genesis following Masha Slamovich’s successful title defense against Rosemary. Jade then came out and taunted Slamovich on the live episode of TNA. But that distraction actually cost her a tag team match against Rosemary, Heather and Ash By Elegance.

As you can imagine, the knockouts champion wasn’t happy and threaten the NXT star.

The NXT star’s purpose for stalking the Knockouts Champion is simple - she wants a shot at the prestigious belt. But Masha’s threats didn’t phase Jade as she taunted Masha before her match on NXT last week:

"Hey @mashaslamovich tune in tonight to see what a real star looks like!!! [face blowing a kiss emoji] #WWENXT," Cora Jade wrote with the photo below.

Now, Cora Jade will get a chance to prove to the Knockouts Champion who she is by competing on the upcoming episode Thursday. This will be the first time that Cora Jade competes in a TNA ring.

TNA and WWE’s exciting partnership continues and it’s clear that they’re building towards a match between these two ladies, but there’s no word on when Masha vs. Cora Jade will take place. Cora Jade’s return only adds to the big names set to be in action this week, including former X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali. Check out what’s advertised for the January 30th episode of TNA Impact!
