Davey Richards, AKA Wesley David Richards, has announced that he'll be parting ways with Global Force Wrestling in order to focus his time on becoming a fully qualified doctor.

Richards is best known for his time in Ring of Honor, where he won multiple tag-team championships as one half of The American Wolves along with Eddie Edwards. Richards is also a former ROH World Champion. More recently, the team (now known as The Wolves) joined the TNA (now GFW) roster where they also won tag-team gold.

Richards is an extremely exciting, well rounded wrestler, who many fans hoped would have a WWE run someday. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem likely now - although he will still work a few independent dates.
