Although he was involved in some memorable matches as the leader of SAnitY in NXT, Eric Young was never given a chance to show what he could do once he moved up to the main roster, and ended up being released as part of the recent company-wide talent purge.

Young was unable to say much about his release at the time, but now that he's free to perform again as part of the Impact Wrestling roster, he's happy to address his disappointing stint in WWE and what ultimately led to him parting ways with the company.

While chatting to Chris Van Vliet, Young echoed Jon Moxley's assertion that the current system for getting talent over is broken. He also believes that Vince McMahon "failed as a leader" for not finding more for someone of his experience to do on a 3-hour show.

Check out the interview snippet below.

What do you make of Young's comments? Do you think he could and should have been utilized more in WWE? Be sure to let us know in the usual place.
