Three "returns" of sorts took place tonight during TNA No Surrender 2026 worth talking about and keeping an eye on for the storylines coming up on Impact and the future.
During the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship match, Indi Hartwell had her foot on the ropes for what should have saved her from a pinfall, only for the referee to not notice, allowing Heather by Elegance and M by Elegance to retain the titles over herself and her partner, Xia Brookside. The Elegance Brand was confronted after the match by a returning Mickie James, who came out to stand alongside Hartwell and Brookside by particularly going directly after Ash by Elegance. In all likelihood, this should set up a six-woman tag team match in the near future at the very least.
During the main event tag team match between Mike Santana and Leon Slater against Nic Nemeth and Eddie Edwards, the TNA world champion was attacked by Steve Maclin, who had been previously the recipient of the "fired" briefcase from the Feast or Fired match. His attack on Santana led to Slater being outnumbered by not only his opponents, but The System members who were ringside and joined in, only to be met with a returning Moose, who went after them to help even the odds and get some revenge, allowing Slater to ultimately pick up the victory with a pinfall over Nemeth.
While nothing regarding those returns have been made official for the next episode of TNA Impact, the two matches that were announced, for anyone curious, were Elijah against Mustafa Ali in a Guitar Case Casket Match (teased with Eiljah's appearance on tonight's event to attack Ali and showcase the unique coffin) and Tessa Blanchard against Jody Threat, as a result of Threat winning the Knockouts Battle Royal by last eliminating Blanchard, who thinks that she deserves to have the title opportunity instead.
