“The World’s Most Dangerous Man” will get another chance to make his mark in Impact Wrestling.
Back in 2002, the former WWE star made his debut for the company at their inaugural pay-per-view; Shamrock won a gauntlet match and became the NWA World Heavyweight Champion. He's recognized as TNA’s first-ever World Champion. His stint with the company didn’t last long as he left shortly after dropping the title in August.
Shamrock would return to the promotion in 2004, but again, his stint didn’t last long with TNA as the former Intercontinental Champion ultimately decided to leave the sport shortly after. The 55-year-old is mostly notable for his time in the UFC and WWE. Shamrock made his return to professional wrestling in November last year at Battle Championship Wrestling 25.
Based on the back-and-forth Moose and the UFC Hall of Famer had on social media, it appears that Shamrock’s first opponent has been decided:
