After being out of the ring for a over a year, Gail Kim made her return last night and showcased why many within the wrestling community considered her one of the best female wrestlers of all time. Neither Kim or Blanchard held back, as the two knockouts played up the personal aspect of their rivalry, with the Impact Hall of famer using her aerial moveset to throw Blanchard off her game.
However, the cocky up-and-comer's aggressive style put a stop to Kim's offense, connecting with moves such as a variation of a full nelson facebuster from the ramp to the floor.
In the end, Tessa was able to get the better of the Hall of famer with a submission win. Despite how personal the rivalry became throughout the build, both ladies showed each other respect in the end, as they shook hands and hugged after having a great match-up.
