Rockstar Spud debuted back in 2013 as Dixie Carter's "chief of staff". He went on to fued with the likes of Ethan Carter and then captured the X Division title twice back in 2015. Lately, Spud hasn't been on television much as his last feud was against Swoggle (WWE's Hornswoggle) back in June and was religated to announcer status beforehand.

According to Prowrestling sheet and numerous wrestling sites, Rockstar Spud has requested his released and it was granted Monday as he no longer works for the company. Reportedly, WWE is interested in bringing in the former X Division champ to 205 Live or their UK show as they are trying to sign more international wrestlers for the division.

This would be a good get for WWE as Spud is a fantastic talker and a strong wrestler who would immensely help the cruiserweight division if he' s booked properly. What do you think? Will Rockstar Spud be a great addition to the cruiserweight division? Let us know through your comments below.
