GFW's Karen Jarrett Comments On The Recent Bar Altercation With WWE Superstar Braun Strowman

Last week, a somewhat bizarre story involving an altercation between "The Monster among Men" and GFW's Karen Jarrett at a bar did the rounds, and now Jarrett has set the record straight. More past the jump...

Just in case you need a refresher on this story, last week Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reported on an incident involving Karen Jarrett approaching Braun Strowman about getting an autograph for her son, and the Monster Among Men being very rude in response.

The altercation allegedly took place in a bar that was occupied by both WWE and GFW stars, and Jarrett was said to be very angry about the whole thing, even threatening to tell her ex-husband Kurt Angle what went down.

However, Jarrett responded to this report during Wednesday's GFW media conference call, seemingly downplaying the entire thing as just a bit of fun:

"Oh my goodness, I can clear the air. It was a silly incident where you have two people in the wrestling business playing their characters, being silly and it got blown way out of proportion. And the fact that the two of us are still in the news and it's still being talked about, that's a question that you took the time to ask I think is hysterical, to be honest with you. It's silliness. It's the wrestling business, we had fun with it and somebody took it and turned it into something more than it was."

Like most stories of this nature, the truth of what occurred is probably somewhere in between - but it'll be interesting to see if there are any repercussions for Strowman moving forward. Watch that ankle, Braun!
