Gia Miller will get her chance at revenge.
At Slammiversary, Indi Hartwell shocked the world by pinning the former Impact World and Knockouts Champion Tessa Blanchard. Not surprisingly, the second generation star wasn’t happy about the results and ambushed Hartwell as she was being interviewed by Miller.
Miller tried to stop Tessa and she was brutally beaten for her troubles. After that attack, Tessa was suspended indefinitely, with TNA finally lifting the former TNA Knockouts Champion’s suspension with one caveat: she'll be facing Miller at Bound For Glory.
Miller has sporadically fought in TNA/Impact Wrestling, but this will be her first official pay-per-view against a top name such as Blanchard. The 25-year-old has been wrestling for five years so she’s an experienced performer who gets a huge opportunity to show the world what she can do at Bound For Glory.
This is Tessa’s first Bound For Glory since 2019. That night, she competed in a five-way ladder match for the X-Division Championship alongside Ace Austin, Acey Romero, Daga, and Jake Crist. Austin emerged victorious. Perhaps Blanchard can get her first BFG win in seven years on October 12th.
Bound For Glory is quickly approaching and the card is nicely taking shape. Thus far, five championship matches have been confirmed for the upcoming show with Leon Slater vs. Je’Von Evans and Kelani Jordan vs. Mike Santana recently added to the big event. Mike Santana vs. Trick Williams for the TNA World Championship is expected to headline Bound For Glory.
