Gia Miller is coming off the biggest match of her career.
At Bound For Glory, Gia Miller went from interviewer to professional wrestler as she fought the woman who assaulted her at Slammiversary, Tessa Blanchard.
To recall, the former TNA Knockouts Champion fought Indi Hartwell in a singles match and the latter managed to get a clean victory over the second generation star. Tessa was pissed, so she took her anger out on Hartwell by ambushing her during an interview with Gia Miller.
Miller tried to get Tessa to stop assaulting Indi, but the second generation star decided to go after Miller. That resulted in Tessa’s indefinite suspension. Bound For Glory was Tessa’s first match back in a TNA ring. But that was also Miller’s first TNA match in 2025.
The grudge match wasn’t given much time to shine, but Miller and Blanchard made the most of what they were given. Despite the short time, the 27-year-old was grateful for the opportunity.
“Yeah, it was a really amazing experience to make my TNA wrestling debut and on a stage like Bound for Glory.” Miller said in her WhatCulture interview. “I mean, a record setting event. The energy that night was just absolutely electric. unfortunately it had to be against Tessa Blanchard, who y’all know my feelings on her, but that’s, that’s not what it’s about. It was about the incredible moment that was Bound For Glory. It’s still hitting me, you know?”
Bound For Glory was not Miller’s first match. The TNA star has competed sporadically in the promotion since 2021. The 27-year-old has been wrestling for five years so she’s an experienced performer who got a huge opportunity to show the world what she can do at Bound For Glory. Tessa had to cheat to beat Miller, so it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if they have a rematch down the line.
At the moment, it’s not clear what the future holds for Miller in TNA. The promotion is currently on a hiatus, with the first advertised date for another show being on November 13th. There’s no word on what the plan is. In fact, it’s not clear why TNA is on a month-long hiatus following their biggest show of the year. But when they come back, hopefully Miller can continue showing her skills in front of audiences.
