One of the early pioneers of TNA/Impact Wrestling’s X-Division is confirmed for the upcoming pay-per-view on April 3 in Tampa, Florida, as the promotion revealed that Shark Boy will be apart of the special event.

While Shark Boy was mostly a comedy character within the promotion, the 45-year-old was involved in plenty of moments that fans remember fondly since his debut in 2002. His most notable stint was when he returned to the company in 2008 and portrayed a Stone Cold Steve Austin like character. The storyline reason for this was that the X-Division star suffered a concussion and underwent a personality change.

Despite his lengthy tenure with the company, Shark Boy never won any titles in TNA/Impact Wrestling; however, while the X-Division wrestler wasn’t having classic wars with the likes of Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, and Christopher Daniels, he is arguably one of the best personalities from the early era of the company’s division.

Disco Inferno, D’Lo Brown, Ken Anderson, Chris Harris, Amazing Red, Petey Williams, Chris Sabin, and Scott Steiner are also confirmed for the show. The event is scheduled for April 3 at the Ritz Ybor City in Tampa, FL.
