Impact Wrestling is officially the new home for Deonna Purrazzo.

It was first reported by Fightful that the reigning Impact Knockouts Champion had been offered a two-year deal with financial increases as the contract goes on. At the time, it was unknown whether the 25-year-old had signed the deal, but Purrazzo’s recent interview with Sean Ross Sapp indicated that she was would remain with the company following Bound For Glory by stating that she would love to be there long term.

Now, Impact officials have confirmed Purrazzo’s signing as Josh Matthews revealed the news during Wednesday’s Press Pass. The full details of her contract remain unknown. Purrazzo seemingly had interest in going to AEW, but there’s no word on whether the promotion offered her any type of deal.

Reports stated that Purrazzo was planning to leave following Bound For Glory, thus meaning that she was likely dropping the belt to Kylie Rae at the big pay-per-view. With Purrazzo confirmed to be with Impact for a lengthy period of time, it should be interesting to see if she’ll remain the champion following this Saturday’s event.
