Will Masha get her rightful justice?
At Slammiversary, Masha Slamovich came in as the TNA Knockouts Champion. For 267 days, she dominated the TNA roster thanks to impressive wins over Jordynne Grace, Tessa Blanchard, and Cora Jade, but the 27-year-old’s experience wasn’t enough to overcome Jacy Jayne.
Slamovich was also part of the three way match at Heatwave and she was the one who took the pin. After The Elegance Brand took care of Jacy Jayne, Ash hit her signature swanton on Slamovich to capture the knockout title for the first time in her career. It was a great moment for TNA. But not a great one for Masha. This is her final chance to regain the Knockouts title.
Surprisingly, Masha doesn’t have a particularly good track record with Ash and The Elegance Brand in 2025. Though she’s never fought Ash in a singles bout this year, Masha has been on the losing end of every multi-person match involving Ash this year.
Still, that didn’t stop the TNA Director of Authority, Santino Marella, from granting Masha the official title match against Ash at Victory Road on September 26th. On TNA Impact! Ash was celebrating her big title win when Masha interrupted the moment. It didn’t take long for the talking to turn into fighting, with Masha getting the better of it in the beginning.
The Elegance Brand came back and ganged up on the Knockouts title challenger, but Xia Brookside, Léi Yǐng Lee, and The IInspiration evened the odds to get the better of the Elegance Brand.
Should Masha win then she’ll cash her ticket to the knockouts title match against Indi Hartwell at Bound For Glory. Of course, if Ash retains then she’ll be the one to face Indi instead.
