Will Sami Callihan become a two-time world champion on Nov. 14?

After teasing a rematch between Sami Callihan and Rich Swann last week, Impact officials confirmed that the duo will collide for the world title at Turning Point on Nov. 14.

Both men have a storied history with one another as Swann and Callihan had an intense rivalry for the X-Division Championship last year. The Baltimore native ended up beating the former Impact World Champion; however, “The Draw” has changed since the last time they fought and Callihan enters the match-up with some nice momentum.

In a tag team main event, Impact World Champion Rich Swann & Eddie Edwards took on Eric Young and Sami Callihan. As expected, the match-up was explosive from the beginning between the four competitors, with Young and Swann going at it any chance they got.

During the chaos, Ken Shamrock ran out and attacked the current world title holder. This distracted Edwards, who was able to connect with his signature piledriver finisher to get a three count. Impact seems to be teasing an alliance between Young, Callihan, and Shamrock; Does this mean that we’re guaranteed to crown a new champion on Nov. 14? We’ll find out at Turning Point!
