Wonder why TNA decided to suspend Tessa Blanchard indefinitely?
Back at Slammiversary, the former TNA Knockouts Champion faced Indi Hartwell in a singles match and the latter surprised everyone by getting a clean victory over the former world champion. Tessa was pissed, so she took her anger out on Hartwell by ambushing her during an interview with Gia Miller.
Miller tried to get Tessa to stop assaulting Indi, but the second generation star turned all of her anger and rage onto Miller. That resulted in Tessa being suspended indefinitely. Bound For Glory was Tessa’s first match back in a TNA ring. The 30-year-old beat Miller in a singles contest, though she did have to cheat to defeat the interviewer-turned-wrestler.
We know the storyline reason that Tessa was gone for some long. But why was she really suspended? Well, Blanchard revealed this piece of information herself on her YouTube channel as she got a boob job that required her to be out of action for a month (Transcript courtesy of Fightful).
“I have decided to get a boob job. This isn’t something that I’m doing for clout. This isn’t a gimmick. It’s not about trying to live up to someone else’s idea of beauty. It’s something I’ve thought about for a long time. Now, I’m finally doing it. For me. I’ve already had the consultation. The decision is made. Soon, I’ll be taking some time from wrestling to heal and take care of my body,” she said.
In a post-surgery update, Tessa said, “I had my surgery on July 30th. We’re a little over a month. I took about a month off, which honestly, I think I needed but didn’t really know it. It felt good to be at home and focus on recovering and letting my body heal.”
Tessa originally made her return to CMLL on October 10th. Given the way she beat Miller at Bound For Glory, it certainly wasn’t a decisive end so it’ll likely continue, but that’s pure speculation since there’s been no word on what the future holds for Blanchard.
