Impact Wrestling’s huge pay-per-view Bound for Glory, which is basically their equivalent of WrestleMania, will be held at the Melrose Ballroom in New York City this October. Impact ran a two-day set of television tapings in Toronto, Ontario this past Sunday and Monday and the main event of their biggest show of the year has been confirmed, along with another marquee match for BFG 2018.

In the main event, Austin Aries will be defending the Impact World Championship against Johnny Impact. The man formerly known as John Morrison main evented last year’s BFG against Eli Drake for the World title, but was unsuccessful in his quest. These two previously faced off against one another at Impact Wrestling's Crossroads event, where Aries was able to succesfully retain his title against Impact.

It has also been confirmed that the Lucha Bros., Pentagon and Fenix, will team up with X-Division Champion Brian Cage to face Sami Callihan and OVE in a six-man tag team match. The bout will be contested under something called “OVE Rules”, which is more than likely a Hardcore Match.
