Tonight is the final show before TNA’s Genesis.
Joe Hendry failed to achieve his goal of becoming the TNA World Champion in 2024. The 36-year-old came extremely close at Bound For Glory, but was screwed out of the championship because of John Layfield. There’s still some mystery regarding John and Nic Nemeth’s partnership.
But Hendry has been able to regain some of the steam heading into his rematch this Sunday. Before the bell rings on January 19th, the TNA World Champion and his challenger will have a face-to-face confrontation one final time. What will Joe or Nic say during what’s sure to be a heated exchange? And will the mystery of John Layfield play a role in tonight’s segment?
Before defending the TNA World Tag Team titles against The Rascalz, Matt and Jeff Hardy have to get through PCO and Sami Callihan first. Now this is a non-title match, but PCO and Callihan are not easy opponents. Both men are known to be dangerous wrestlers who have a high tolerance for pain. Can The Hardyz walk out of the go-home episode 100% healthy?
Also, former Impact World Champion Josh Alexander will get a chance to speak before his grudge match against Santana. These two have been bitter rivals for the past couple of months and the TNA stars will settle their differences this Sunday. What message will Josh Alexander deliver before his big match at Genesis?
Expect to see Moose (X-Division Champion), Tessa Blanchard, Jordynne Grace, Masha Slamovich (TNA Knockouts Champion), Rosemary, and Ash and Heather by Elegance on tonight’s go-home show.
