TNA Emergence is a stacked card!
On Thursday, Santino Marella confirmed several new matches for the upcoming Impact Plus exclusive; the first match is somewhat of a rematch as Matt and Jeff will defend the TNA World Tag Team titles against The Rascalz.
The Hardys first defended their titles against the Rascalz back at Genesis. But the key difference is that it was Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz who challenged for those belts. This time, Myron Reed steps up for an injured Trey Miguel, and given that the duo and Cedric Alexander beat The Hardys and Leon Slater in a six man tag team match, it’s certainly possible that new champions could emerge on August 15.
But that wasn’t the only match announced.
Jake Something and Steve Maclin fought for the International Champion on Thursday, but that match ended in a countout. This time, Steve and Jake don’t have to worry about any countouts or disqualifications in their rematch at Emergence.
Also, The Elegance Brand is in serious trouble. Ash failed to beat Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship, but earlier in the night, M and Heather by Elegance suffered a loss at the hands of Lei Ying Li and Xia Brookside. Now, Ash and Heather have to worry about three other teams going after their belts as Fallon Henley & Jazmyn Nyx, The IInspiration, and Léi Yǐng Lee & Xia Brookside will challenge for the TNA Knockouts titles in a four way match at Emergence.
